Subscribers
Subscribers are the contacts in your Listmonk instance. Each subscriber has an email address and optional attributes such as name and custom fields.
Viewing subscribers
Go to Subscribers in the left sidebar. You can search by email or name, and filter by list or status.
Subscriber statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Active — will receive campaigns |
| Disabled | Opted out or manually disabled |
| Blocklisted | Permanently suppressed (bounced or complained) |
Adding a subscriber
Click New subscriber, enter their email address, optionally add a name and assign them to one or more lists, then click Save.
Importing subscribers
- Go to Subscribers → Import.
- Download the sample CSV to see the expected format.
- Upload your CSV file. Required column:
email. Optional:name,status, and any custom attributes as JSON. - Select which list(s) to add them to.
- Click Import and monitor the progress log.
Large imports run in the background — refresh the page to see the final count.
Exporting subscribers
Go to Subscribers, apply any filters you want, then click Export. A CSV will download with all matching subscribers.
Editing a subscriber
Click any subscriber row to open their profile. You can update their name, attributes, list memberships, and status.
Deleting subscribers
Select one or more subscribers using the checkboxes, then click Delete. This is permanent — use Disable if you only want to stop them receiving emails.
